This range of Single Shaft Shredders are multi purpose machines designed to withstand the demands of continuous operation in recycling a wide range of materials including: Film bales, purgings, automotive bumpers, and timber scrap.
Choice of rotors specifically designed to make this Shredder suitable for various types of material.
Low speed operation, resulting in lower noise levels.
Newly developed and patented ram feeder minimises slippage when shredding bulky items and its unique design also reduces the footprint of the machine.
Adjustable knife height to suit specific material and application.
Bolted knife holders for simplified maintenance proceedures and reduced downtime.
Efficient cutting design ensures a clean cut and reduces heat build up.
Cutting knives may be turned up to 4 times to utilise the 4 cutting edges, prior to re-sharpening.
HEAVY DUTY SHREDDERS
A rough, tough Shredder built for high throughputs and demanding applications. Well suited to the size reduction of a range of materials from voluminous tanks to solid purgings.
Standard models have rotor widths of 1,500mm - 3,000mm and use 750mm diameter cutting rotors.
A large rotor diameter in combination with slow rotational speed ensures smooth operation.
Equipped with heavy duty swinging ram with a serrated ram plate to minimise slippage when shredding bulky items such as bundles, lumps or pallets.
Easy access doors combined with an optional hydraulically actuated screen cradle ensures easy access for maintenance and cleaning.
Thoughputs of up to 10,000 kg/hr can be expected.
PIPE & PROFILE SHREDDERS
These Shredders have been developed for the size reduction of pipes up to 1,300mm diameter in materials such as UPVC, PE and PP. Pipes up to 9 metres in length may be shredded without the need for pre cutting.
Method of Operation
Large pipes or bundles of pipes of smaller diameter are loaded into the horizontal feeding trough, the doors are closed automatically and the hydraulic pusher forces the pipes towards the rotor.
The shredded material is then discharged onto a conveyor and transferred to a Granulator for reduction to its final size.
Advantages
Economical power consumption
Reduced noise emission when compared with large Granulators, due to the smooth operation of the system.
Whole system operated via a central control panel ensuring operator safety.
